Property is responsible for Region Västerbotten's local supply, including both strategy and implementation of operations and maintenance as well as renovation and new construction. Our customers are our citizens, patients, and all operations within Region Västerbotten. The department is a regional operation with about 90 employees, of which about 60 are in Umeå.

Your tasks

Region Västerbotten is expanding the infrastructure for electric vehicle charging, and we are now looking for property technicians in electrical who want to work with the property stock's electric vehicle chargers. In the role of property technician, you will work with preventive maintenance and service of the facilities. Corrective maintenance and management. The role of technician for servicing electric vehicle chargers applies throughout the county but is stationed in Umeå. In addition to this main assignment, you will, in your role as an electrical technician, work with other technicians in the electrical area at the hospital in Umeå.

Your role includes performing supervision and maintenance of facilities (Emergency power, UPS, transformer stations), optimizing buildings and their technical installations and equipment. You will also handle incoming cases from our operations. Ordering smaller contracting work and following up on these is also a task that occurs.

On-call duty is included in the position.

Your background/Your qualities

For the position, you are required to have an ECY certificate and have a few years of experience in service or industry. Knowledge of climate and control is an advantage; other requirements are a B driver's license, computer skills from technical and administrative systems, and good oral and written skills in the Swedish language.

Mentorship and training in our facilities and systems will be provided to give you education and security.

To be successful in the role of property technician, you need to be a meticulous and safety-conscious person who wants to develop in your work. You enjoy working independently and solving the challenges you face in your work, but you also find it easy to collaborate with people from different backgrounds and competencies.
